Tomorrow evening Concord Rangers have another tough away day as the Beach Boys make the trip to Hampshire to take on Farnborough.
Due to multiple postponements this fixture has been pushed back to March having originally been scheduled to take place in September, and since the original date Farnborough have become a much improved side.
Spencer Day's side endured a tough start to the campaign which saw them win just two of their opening ten games and consequently a relegation battle looked to be on the cards for Boro.
However following this wobbly start to life back in the sixth tier the Yellows were eventually able to find some form and currently have their eyes set on finishing in the playoffs.
A narrow 1-0 win over Hampton & Richmond Borough at the weekend means Farnborough are now just two points off the top seven.
Despite this, Boro's form at the Easy As HGV Stadium hasn't been great of late with the Yellows winning just one of their past six home games - a dominant 4-1 victory over Slough Town.
Concord on the other hand will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing 3-0 loss at Hemel Hempstead Town on Saturday.
A brace from Reece Grant alongside a Josh Williams strike sentenced the Beach Boys to a third straight defeat in all competitions.
The two sides have already met once in 2023, in the fixture at the Aspect Arena. On that day it looked like Concord were heading to a respectable goalless draw up until injury time, when Luke Warner-Eley conceded a last gasp penalty that was converted by Mason Bloomfield.
Despite this the head-to-head record still lies in Concord's favour with Rangers winning four of the past five meetings.
Key Player
Mason Bloomfield
Farnborough's joint top scorer Mason Bloomfield joined the club on New Years Day from Bromley and has made a fine start to life in Hampshire.
Since leaving Hayes Lane, the 26 year old has bagged seven goals in 12 appearances - one of which came against Concord in the reverse fixture in February.
Bloomfield was last on target on Tuesday the 21st of March when the attacker netted Boro's second goal in their 4-1 win against Slough.
Bloomfield is no stranger to Essex having previously played in the county for the likes of: Dagenham & Redbridge, Maldon & Tiptree, Chelmsford City, Billericay Town, Grays Athletic, Witham Town, Brentwood Town and Aveley.
