Concord Rangers are back in action on Tuesday night as Rob Small's men entertain a Slough Town side that has struggled to find consistency of late.
The Rebels are currently 16th in the Vanarama National League South table but despite this they aren't safe from the threat of relegation, with Scott Davies' side six points clear off the drop zone having played more games than every side below them.
Slough have only picked up one win in their last five games, a slender 2-1 victory at St Albans City, but having said that the Rebels did pick up a respectable 1-1 draw against Worthing on Saturday despite playing the majority of the game with nine men.
Concord also picked up a point at the weekend but the Beach Boys' came in more frustrating circumstances with Rob Small's side surrendering a 2-0 lead in injury time to draw 2-2 against ten men Chippenham Town.
When the two sides last met in December it was a goalless draw in Berkshire in a game that saw Concord's Mo Bettamer sent off after half an hour.
If the head-to-head record is anything to go off then tomorrow's encounter should finish a draw as the last meetings between the Beach Boys and the Rebels have finished level. Although Slough haven't beaten Concord since 2018.
Three points would be vital for Concord as if they lose and Cheshunt and Hampton & Richmond Borough both win then Rangers will be seven points from safety - although Concord can boast the comfort blanket of having played four games less than both the Ambers and the Beavers.
Key Player
John Goddard
Slough's joint top scorer this term with five goals, John Goddard has been a consistent performer for the Rebels this season racking up 30 appearances for the club.
The 29 year old joined Slough in the summer from fellow National League South outfit St Albans in the summer and has so far enjoyed a successful stint with the Rebels.
Goddard amassed EFL experience previously in his career with the likes of Swindon Town and Stevenage.
The winger has also made two caps for England C, with both coming in 2016 during Goddard's time with Woking.
