Tomorrow evening Concord Rangers can book their place in the final of the BBC Essex Senior Cup as Rob Small's men take on Isthmian Premier Division outfit Hornchurch.

The Urchins currently play their trade one step below Concord, but despite this it's likely that they'll prove a tough test for the Beach Boys with Mark Stimson's side eyeing up promotion to the National League South.

To reach the final four the Urchins have had to see off Brightlingsea Regent, Romford and Billericay Town - scoring three or more goals in every round of the competition thus far.

As well as an impressive run in the cup, Hornchurch also come into this clash in eye-catching form, with the Urchins unbeaten in seven games - not losing on the road since Boxing Day.

Hornchurch also boast an impressive attack that has netted a staggering 72 goals so far this season in the league alone. As well as this the Urchins have scored in every single game since November.

The head-to-head record between the two sides lies in Hornchurch's favour with the men from Upminster winning four of their last five competitive meetings with Concord.

The two sides have already faced off once already this term in a pre-season friendly in July. On that day it was Hornchurch who ran out the winners with Stimson's team romping to a 4-1 victory courtesy of strikes from Liam Nash, Charlie Stimson, Joe Christou and Nathan Bertram-Cooper.

The winner of tomorrow's tie will face either Chelmsford City or Braintree Town in the final.

Key Player
Ade Yusuff

A recent arrival from fellow Isthmian Premier Division side Folkestone Invicta, Ade Yusuff joined Hornchurch earlier this month and has made a fine start to life with the Urchins.

So far Yusuff has made five appearances scoring three goals; one of which came in Hornchurch's 2-0 win at Cray Wanderers on Saturday.

Before making the move to Upminster, Yusuff scored 20 goals for Folkestone.

Previously in his career Yusuff has also represented the likes of Dagenham & Redbridge, Dulwich Hamlet and Tonbridge Angels.

They've played for both

Across both squads there are nine players who have donned both the yellow and blue of Concord as well as the red and white of Hornchurch.

In the home ranks current Beach Boys Louis Ramsay, Billy Roast, Jack Munns and Ola Ogunwamide have all represented Hornchurch with the latter two both joining Concord from the Urchins earlier this year.

With the visitors Lamar Joseph-Johnson, Joe Wright, Sam Higgins, Liam Nash and Charlie Stimson will all be returning to familiar territory when they make the trip to the Aspect Arena tomorrow evening.
